This means wellness resorts will be the best place to travel this year. Not only are they the best place to relax and enjoy things like beaches or forests, but they are also a way to help with mental health issues. The wellness trend doesn’t only mean working out; it also means working out your mental health, which was necessary for many people after the pandemic.

The resorts on this list are picked out because they offer the best wellness packages. Even if they don’t provide it on their website, you can make a reservation and let the staff know you want a wellness-based vacation. It’s a trend and a lifestyle choice that can offer benefits beyond any listed here. It can be a family, couple, or solo vacation. You don’t need to be anyone specific to have a wellness vacation, and these holidays can lead to healthy habits like scuba diving, yoga, and more.

Here are the top five wellness resorts in the world:

Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa

The Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa just opened less than a year ago, and the property is built like a wellness paradise. They offer services like massages and yoga (which are typical) but go even further with a mixology program introducing travelers to the benefits of kombucha. They also have a semi-seasonal medical practitioner who comes in and offers services like acupuncture and other alternative medicine.

Another wellness aspect of this property is its Sip Tea Lounge.

It’s the perfect place to have tea (or a cocktail) and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Here you’ll find over 50 different teas and alcohol-infused teas to watch in the evening. Other wellness options include guided snorkeling adventures and scuba diving introductions. You can get scuba-certified in just three days. This is the perfect spot to breathe.

Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort, Paros

Located on the Grecian island of Paros, Cosme is a fantastic resort filled with amenities that may not appear as straightforward wellness, but they are. Cosme is set against the Aegean sea in the middle of the Naoussa village. Wellness here means more than just a massage (even though they offer excellent services at their Elios Spa).

You can wander the nearby town where all the buildings are whitewashed or take a small boat out and take in the magnificence of the Greek islands. Dining here is another form of wellness that fulfills one of the most important aspects of happiness. Restaurants like Volta and Parostià offer some of the best Greek food on the island and have beautiful backdrops that will mesmerize you.

Six Senses Ibiza

Right in the Balearic Islands near Catalonia, Six Senses Ibiza is the antithesis of partying. The island is known for its chaotic nature, but this resort is the opposite. Relaxing by the pool can be the only wellness-based thing you do here, and this hotel will fulfill you.

They offer different programs, including massages and health-related activities like wellness screening, detox, sleep upgrade, skin analysis, and biohacking. This is the type of place you head to if you require an effective detox.

Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection

The keys are ideal for their relaxing nature, and Key Largo is no different. Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection is the biggest and best resort on the key. It offers many wellness activities that can help improve health and general mood.

This property gives you private moments from their Ocean Spa to Sol By The Sea. They have a daily sunset ritual called the eventide celebration that celebrates the end of the day with an offering. Not meant to be highly spiritual but can be from a lot from a wellness perspective.

Aman New York

Aman is a brand known for having the best wellness resorts in the world; one of the busiest cities worldwide wouldn’t be considered part of that. It offers a refuge for travelers seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of New York City. Eastern culture meets the west at this property, and things like year-round garden terrace offer views of Manhattan in a serene environment.

The spa houses here are one of the biggest in New York and offer services like a hammam and a banya. It feels like you’re living in two worlds at this resort, the city’s chaos and the hotel’s calm.

Wellness resorts will be trending this year, and it’s no surprise. The last three years have been difficult for the entire world, and we must start looking at physical and mental wellness while we travel. This year, take some time to heal.
