While prices of goods, hotels, etc. in Dahab are lower than in most cities in Egypt and in other destinations like Bali as the writer pointed out, the hotel prices mentioned are not accurate. There are no 5-star hotel options in Dahab, much less with costs ranging from $50-90. Safir hotel, which claims to be 5 star (but some guests dispute this rating), costs at least $150/night. Jaz Dahabeya, the highest rated hotel but rated 4 star, costs at least $200/night.
